We work closely with you to discover and develop strategies for creating content and enhancing your instruction. Sometimes this means better leveraging the equipment found in a technology enhanced classroom. Other times it's creating a custom instructional technolgy to suit your specific needs. Regardless, whenever we recommend an instructional technology, we also offer training for putting it to use.

Training can take place on-site, where you teach or in our training room located at Rhodes Tower 414.

If you would like to schedule a training session, please contact Chris Rennison at 216-523-7582.

Tegrity is a lecture-capture tool that provides a straight-forward way to record lessons, lectures, and demonstrations from a computer, tablet or phone. One button starts a recording, another button stops it, and Tegrity manages the rest.

Our staff offers individual and group training for those wishing to use Tegrity in the classroom. We can cover introductory items such as: an overview of the product, where to find it, install it, how to create a recording and how to make the recording available to your students. We can also cover more in-depth topics such as: creating recordings from a mobile device, giving students the ability to create their own Tegrity recordings and incorporating multiple sources of instructional media in a single recording.

To schedule Tegrity training through our Center please call either John Hubbard at 216-875-9707 or Chris Rennison at 216-523-7582.

TurningPoint is an easy-to-use engagement and assessment tool that helps instructors collect responses from students and identify their progress through real-time feedback. It offers a variety of ways to incorporate interactive questions in existing teaching materials.

Session topics range from: PowerPoint Polling, Anywhere Polling, Self-Paced Polling, Integration with Blackboard, and Advanced Features with a Pedogogical Focus.
